The Institute for Hermetic Studies is proud to announce that John Michael Greer is the first recipient of the Louis Claude de St.-Martin Lifetime Achievement Award presented by the Institute for Hermetic Studies at this year’s annual conference. John is well known to many, if not all of you as the author of over 80 books, decades of blogging on esoteric, societal, and cultural topics, and of course, his sense of humor. A favorite at conferences across the country, and occasionally out of it when he decides to travel, John has worn many hats – both literally and figuratively – across his esoteric career, and is known to many for his work in the Golden Dawn system, Freemasonry, and of course, Druidism. While we know we will be hearing a great deal more from John, we would like to take this moment to say “thank you” for all that he has done in the field of esoteric scholarship, practice, and instruction.
