“How much time do we have left?”
“Until what?”
“You know, the Big One.”
“Oh, that. About four years or four centuries.”
“Well, that is quite the spread.”
“Not really. It’s all a matter of perspective.”
In light of current events – and our various forecasts over the last several years – we are getting inundated with questions that can only be summed up in the following, “How much time do we have left?” Of course the questions means, “How much time before life as we know it is no longer recognizable?” Now, there are also an embedded host of assumptions in that single question as well, and we will do our best to answer them in a meaningful manner.
First, you have only as much time left as you have between when you are reading this and when you die. This is no small matter, so use it wisely.
Second, how you use that time will be a reflection on what you truly believe, what your deepest held values truly are and not what is presented to others. This is important as this is what your experiences will be like when your time runs out, when you are dead.
Third, because there are no guarantees. We are repeatedly told to “DO YOUR DUTY” and release attachment to this world without neglecting it. Because with it comes karma, or “As you sow, so shall you reap.”
For those interested in typical French Catholic esotericism, that kind that is found in the alchemical writings of Fulcanelli and often referred to as ‘chiliasm’ we see no better example than in the philosophy of the French esoteric philosopher Jean Phaure.
The following is a summary transcription of a brief interview with Phaure (originally in French). It is noted that he predicted the end of Communism within a year and with it the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Question One: You predicted that the end of time was 2026, is it Nostradamus or the prophecy of the Popes?
Reply: I would say around 2026 but between 2026 – 2030.
Question Two: Can you explain astrologically, Kabbalistically, numeroligically how the end of times will be 2026?
Reply: I didn’t say 2026 I said between 2026 and 2030. I cannot explain this in 30 seconds you have to read “the cycle of humanity”. It is the law of the Four Ages. If the epic of France from 496 to 1792 Louis XVI lasted lasted 1296, it is 1/20th of the passage of the Equinoxes. All the great event in history are based on the Catholic Church before it became a prostitute like France is now. These historical event based on the Equinoxes was a contribution of Guenon and more details by Paul Lecourt and of Raoul Leclerc. This man who I think we don’t give enough recognition (homage). I just synthesized all of it. I think all these people received some type of message from the Holy Spirit and that I had the duty, the job of making something coherent with these scattered elements. Then we get to the dates of 1917, 1989. Now we are in the transition between the Age of Pisces and the Age of Aquarius. The Age of Aquarius which is not the age of syncretism, occultism but will involve major upheavals, then it will be the opening of the millennium, the millennium that the Catholic Church doesn’t want to hear about.
This statement by Phaure corresponds with what we have heard regarding the reported third and final (and unpublished) book by Fulcanelli, Finis Gloria Mundi, wherein the final time was around 2030. It is also possible that the various authors are relying overlapping sources or philosophies, but we mention this date range as not being singular to either party.
Other astrological sources place the period of 2026 until about 2033 (2030 being directly at the midway point) as being critical years in the century as well as civilization. After this period we see some astrological predictions stating tremendous growth, stability, and well being. However, the details of what that looks like are lacking. What is certain is that this is not “Utopia,” as the cyclic procession of ease and difficulty and everything in between continues its march onward. As such, most astrological forecasts end around 2100 simply because they are too difficult to describe in any meaningful manner. A common problem with all forecasts beyond one or two dozen years, let alone a century or more.
Kalachakra and 2424
One of the most well known prophecies is regarding the appearance of the 25th Kalki King. According to tradition he will return when the world is cloaked in ignorance and materialism, and spiritual teachings are limited and difficult if not impossible to find.
While many will say that the year 2424 is four centuries off, let us consider it from the esoteric view of reincarnation. If one is reading this essay there is a good chance that they are not an adepts, even though they aspire to be one, and that the state of awakening they aspire to has not yet been fully realized. As such, existing in the human realm you will most likely reincarnate in a human dimension – not an animal realm, demonic realm, or ghost realm. The higher dimensions of the demi-god and god realms are not ruled out, but we cannot be certain of those – as they require the proper spiritual energy, or karma (energy of habits).
So, if you do reincarnate here on Earth, you will be in need of spiritual teachings to continue your Work. This Work will be more difficult, unless you prepare. Even with preparation, and available teachings, you will have about four-hundred years, or four or five lifetimes in which to acquire the desired inner state before ignorance overwhelms the earth. With each of those lives having to spend about 20 years getting a basic education – if it is available. However, with each passing lifetime, as we come closer to the fated date, and spiritual teachings will become harder and more difficult to obtain and to practice – or as we have pointed out to recognize from among the mass of false, incomplete, and misinformed teachings present. Thus, the best time you have, according to the Kalachakra Prophecies, is right now. Then, when the enlightened army of spiritual warrior-saints descend into the world, you will be in a better position to meet and recognize them.
How do we improve our capacity? By increasing our merit as the Tibetans call it, or spiritualized karma, that is actions dedicated towards our enlightenment and that of others. Only by creating the correct mindset, of the Work and Worship, of service towards the material and spiritual assistance of others can we create the causes and conditions within ourselves that allows Divine Grace, the “Gifts of God,” or spontaneous awakening -in whatever name we wish to give it – to happen. This has been discussed in detail in our courses, “Unfolding the Rose: Illumination and Western Esotericism” and “Sanctus: Spirituality in Daily Life” and others. There is always enough time left if you are willing to “take as much time as is needed” to realize the nature of your Being. If that means one billion years, one thousand years, or a single lifetime, the choice is up to you.

In the hear future we will provide some esoteric ideas around the Book of Revelation of St. John the Divine, also known as the Apocalypse of John, and its various meanings that are important to students of esotericism.

UPDATE: One our longtime supporters and volunteers, an expert in several areas, sent us the following:
“As you may know, the date 2030 is also of interest to some aspects of the Evangelical Christian community. The general idea is that the “tribulation” will begin around 2026 or 2027 and that Jesus Christ will return in 2030. I have not paid attention to it, so their reasoning is a mystery to me. I mention it for inclusiveness. Of greater interest to me is the Tibetan prophecy which I know we discussed last year. Whereas the Evangelical view is fatalistic, even if they are on to something of importance, the Vajrayana view is a warning, and like all good diagnosis it offers a medicine as well. First the warning. According to several online sources the period in question commences in 2026 and lasts until 2032. As with many Tibetan prophecies, the details of what will happen in each year over the period mentioned is clear, and the remediation is to wear the talisman, but more importantly to generate the ‘mind of enlightenment’ or Bodhicitta, and to undertake various practices. Although, as usual, Padmasambhava, Green or White Tara, and Chenrezig are always acceptable. It must be stressed that details were also left out of the descriptions, and it is said that Padmasambava himself even had difficulty in speaking of these events lest people fall into despair. The only thing mentioned is that the cause of the great war is greed. The prophecies say that the situation must be accepted as many will be in denial, and the meditations aimed at personal and social remediation must be undertaken.
In the end, if there is any truth to these prophecies then meditation is critical, such as what you described in Wisdom’s Bliss. If they are simply a form of collective delusion, or misunderstood, then the meditation will still be of value. So, as the Christians say, Faith AND Works, or Devotion and Merit in Vajrayana. Thank you.”
