Mark Stavish and Christopher Bilardi discuss magic and witchcraft in Northeastern Pennsylvania as seen through the lens of the most famous witch of the era – Sybil Leek, and NEPA’s ‘wonderworker’ Dr. Santee. Focus is on the 1960s through 1980s and what this period of magical innovation means for present researchers and practitioners. Santee’s coven, the Coven of the Catta was the topic of Animal Planet’s series, “The Haunted” in 2009. Bilardi is the author of “The Red Church – Or the Art of Pennsylvania German Braucherei” (2009). Stavish is the Founder and Director of Studies for the Institute for Hermetic Studies.
Thank you for your work, and for Unfolding the Rose. I feel most fortunate – and am grateful – that you have made it available. Am working through it slowly (daily, but slowly).

Looking forward to this! A part of my ancestry is German. I feel like listening to this is going to make my taking the Pow-Wow course inevitable…
Can I ask what PowWow course you’re referring to?
TIA!
Thank you. Please see the link below.
